1311 Nelson Rd Rock Falls, IL 61071 (815) 632-0826 At Boldt Construction, I was a Field Engineer Intern working on the construction of Nelson Energy Center for Invenergy, in Rock Falls, IL. This $220 million natural gas-fired power generation plant produces 584-megawatt and brought 350 jobs during the peak of construction. It was named as one of the top economic development projects in Illinois last year and projected to bring in $6.5 million of additional property taxes to the area over the next decade. While working with Boldt I became very passionate in my field of studies and in this line of work. |
